Elementary Teachers

Leslie Savage, Second and Third Grade Teacher

Leslie Savage earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Radford University with endorsements in K-3.  She taught for years in Northampton County Public Schools, starting at Hare Valley and continued at Kiptopeke Elementary. During this time, she also became a Nationally Certified teacher.  She has been at CCCS since we first opened in 2009 and,  as of the writing of this bio, has been teaching for 38 years.  She is originally from Nelson County and moved to the Eastern Shore for her first teaching job and met her husband of 37 years during that first year here.  In her spare time, Mrs. Savage enjoys crafting and decorating for events.

Janet Papazian (not pictured)- Kindergarten and First Grade

Janet Papazian earned her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Farmingdale State University in New York and her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Philosophy from Stony Brook University in New York.  She earned her Masters in Secondary Education from Dowling College, also in New York.  She is currently teaching for her third year at Cape Charles Christian School and enjoys skiing, biking, and baking in her free time.
