CCCS's Annual 'Souper Bowl' a Huge Success!

For the week leading  up to the Eagles v. Chiefs game, CCCS had its own competition.  This year’s annual "Souper Bowl" canned food drive at Cape Charles Christian School was another incredible display of generosity and community spirit! Students, teachers, and families came together to support our local food bank at Trinity United Methodist Church, making a tangible impact on those in need.

The school-wide event encouraged friendly competition among the classes, each striving to bring in the most canned goods. After a fierce yet fun contest, our Kindergarten and 1st-grade class emerged victorious, contributing an impressive 130 items! Their hard work and enthusiasm earned them a well-deserved class party. However, the real win was in our collective effort—our school gathered over 350 canned goods, all of which were carried down the street to Trinity UMC’s food pantry.

This event is a meaningful tradition at Cape Charles Christian School, emphasizing the values of kindness, service, and community involvement. We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication to helping others and grateful to our families for their support.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in making this year’s "Souper Bowl" such a success! We look forward to continuing this wonderful tradition and making an even greater impact next year.
